Billing / Insurance Specialist

Location: Remote – Peru preferred, but open to candidates from LATAM regions such as Costa Rica, Colombia, or Ecuador.

Our client offers IV ketamine infusion therapy and FDA-approved Spravato nasal spray for individuals with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. They operate offices in New York and New Jersey, providing cutting-edge care to improve patients' well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle medical billing and insurance claims processing for ketamine and Spravato treatments.
• Communicate with insurance companies to ensure accurate claim submissions and resolve denials.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries and insurance-related concerns.
• Maintain and update billing data, reports, and trackers using Google Sheets and other platforms.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with billing regulations and insurance requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in medical billing and insurance.
• 2-3+ years of experience working directly on behalf of healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics, or medical offices).
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) – comfortable speaking with both patients and insurance companies.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and data management; bonus if experienced with macros or data manipulation tools.

• Problem-solver with a proactive approach to billing challenges.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
