Project Developer

H&C Construction LLC, a U.S.-based residential remodeling company, is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Project Developer to lead the preparation phase of remodeling projects. This role is responsible for transforming approved projects into fully developed, ready-to-execute packages by managing designs, technical documentation, and fixture procurement. The ideal candidate combines architectural knowledge with client communication and coordination skills to ensure a seamless transition to fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Technical Preparation: Create designs and technical plans that match the project scope and budget Develop pre-designs during the lead stage to support project approvals Prepare documentation for post-pre-construction coordination and PM handoff Produce showroom designs to support sales
• Fixture Procurement & Documentation: Create fixture lists and related documents based on project scope Coordinate procurement by providing required documentation to purchasing Track client fixture selections and follow up on purchases Ensure all selections are received before the start of fieldwork
• Client Coordination & Communication: Work directly with homeowners to explain designs and guide selections Deliver clear, accurate documents such as plans and fixture lists Answer client inquiries related to design or product choices
• Systems & Reporting: Update CRM and Buildertrend with all project preparation progress Document all communications, technical changes, and approvals Create and deliver reports as required
• Additional Contributions: Support team training and help prepare onboarding materials Provide guidance to junior Project Developers if assigned senior status Take on urgent or department-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Architecture background or strong architectural knowledge (required)
• Experience in residential remodeling or interior design
• Ability to produce high-quality renderings and visual presentations
• Advanced English (C1 level) – assessed during the interviewgr
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Attention to detail in documentation and design
• Proficiency with digital tools and design software

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Experience working in client-facing roles or customer service
• Familiarity with U.S. construction or permitting processes
